Our New Therapist: Mya McGee

Mya McGee, MS, CCC-SLP

Mya McGee joined our team in mid-2019. Mya received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Science and Disorders from The University of Montevallo in 2011 and her Master of Science in Communicative Disorders at The University of Alabama in 2012.  She is an ASHA-certified and Georgia-licensed speech-language pathologist.  Prior to working with ABC,  Mya served the public school system in Floyd and Paulding County, GA.   She has experience working with children with disabilities including Autism, Down Syndrome, intellectual disability, and vision and hearing impairment.  Mya is bilingual and enjoys providing speech and language therapy to clients whose primary language is Spanish.   Her special interests include:  bilingual speech therapy, articulation/phonological disorders, receptive/expressive language disorders and social/pragmatic language skills.
