Betsy Eager-Kessel, MS CCCSLP

Betsy Eager-Kessel MS CCCSLP, Director

Betsy has a passion for working children from infancy to young adulthood with speech and language disabilities.  She has more than 30 years experience  and has been trained to work with children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder by the State of Georgia.  In addition to her private practice experience, she has participated as a therapist for Cobb County’s Early Intervention Program, The Atlanta Speech School, Cobb County School System and Marietta City School System, and was instrumental in the development of Project Key, a collaboration of the Cobb County and Marietta School System’s Special Needs Pre-School Program.   She has expertise in feeding and swallowing therapy.  Betsy is a licensed Speech and Language Therapist with a Masters of Science Degree in Speech Pathology and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology.  Betsy is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and the Georgia Speech and Hearing Association.

Tina Ellsworth, MS Ed CCC-SLP

Tina received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders at the University of Virginia in 1996.  She completed her practicum and Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from the Old Dominion University.  She is licensed with the state of Georgia and ASHA certified.  She has worked in the Virginia School Systems, Early Intervention Programs as well as private practice.  She enjoys helping children realize functional communication and social/pragmatic language skills.  Special interests include treating children with disabilities, receptive and expressive language deficits, auditory processing, social/pragmatic deficits, articulation and phonological processing as well as children with hearing loss.

 

 

 

Arielle Hoffman M.S., CF-SLP

Arielle Hoffman MS CCC-SLP

Arielle Hoffman is a Speech-Language Pathologist at ABC Pediatric Therapy. Arielle received her Bachelor of Science in Education at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia, and completed her Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. Arielle has a wide variety of experience evaluating and treating neurogenic disorders, developmental delays, AAC users, language disorders, intellectual disabilities, hearing impairment, and articulation disorders within the pediatric population. She has worked in both the school setting and private practice setting. In addition, she has previously served the geriatric population within an inpatient acute care hospital setting. Arielle has a passion for working with pediatric articulation/phonological disorders, social/pragmatic disorders, and expressive/receptive language disorders. Her goal is to create a fun and comfortable therapy environment for children to learn and grow to reach their full potential.

Anna Lindsey MS, CCC-SLP

Anna Lindsey is a speech-language pathologist at ABC Pediatric Therapy Services. Anna joined our team in August 2021. Anna received her bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders at UGA in May 2019 and completed her master’s in Speech-Language Pathology at UWG in July 2021. Prior to working with ABC Pediatric Therapy, Anna completed clinical practicums at Camp Creek Middle School and UWG Comprehensive Community Clinic. She completed two semesters for her clinical internships here at ABC Pediatric Therapy. She enjoys working with clients with receptive and expressive language impairments, speech sound disorders, AAC devices, social/pragmatics deficits, and more. Anna believes everyone deserves a voice, and she is grateful to be able to help do that at ABC Pediatric Therapy.

Brittany Bishop MS Ed, CFY-SLP

Brittany Bishop is a Speech Language Pathologist who joined the ABC Pediatric Therapy team in June of 2023. Brittany holds a Childhood Development Associates, an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education, two Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Music, and a Masters of Education in Speech Language Pathology. She has over 10 years of experience working with children from birth through adolescence, including as an Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist, Preschool Teacher and Family Engagement Professional at Early Head Start. Brittany is passionate about parent education as she believes that the time spent practicing skills between sessions is actually the most important!

Kirsten Morgan MS, CCC-SLP

Kirsten Morgan attended the University of Georgia and graduated with her Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2019. She then received her Master’s in Speech Language Pathology at the University of West Georgia. She has always had a heart for working with early learners, from her daycare job to research experience in the area of Autism. During this time, she worked with young adult students with disabilities in Project Wolves where she supported them in independent living and socializing. After UWG, she worked in Paulding County School District Special Education serving speech students and their families for two years. At that time, she became certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association and started at ABC. Across her career, she has had experience evaluating and treating speech sound disorders, fluency disorders, language disorders, and pragmatic disorders. She has worked to find solutions for a variety of issues, including AAC speech generating devices, complex articulation disorders, social difficulties,  spoken or understanding language issues, and other health related syndromes. She enjoys helping clients and families determine what mode of communication works best, knowing each child is unique. Kirsten is committed to finding creative and functional solutions for complex communication problems.
